Remember when Saturday mornings were worth getting up for? While we can’t provide a four-hour block of programming, here’s some retro news you may have missed (or simply want to revisit) from the past week.

Saturday Morning Programming:

This week we’re busy thinking of Rick Moranis in Gravedale High. How much better would the Little Shop of Horrors cartoon be if Rick Moranis were all up in that, too?

Movie-Related News:

Molly Ringwald’s daughter struck a totally appropriate pose next to a poster of her mother.

SavedbytheBell3

Internetting:

pop-up-ads

And if there’s a Rick Moranis frisbee, of course Linz owns it.

R.I.P.:

Don Pardo, the voice of Saturday Night Live (and of course, provider of a great cameo in “Weird Al” Yankovic’s “I Lost on Jeopardy”), passed away on August 18 at the age of 96.
